Water, the essence of life, is a scarce resource in a desert enviroment especially when coupled with industrial growth and a booming population. SSEM has secured itself as the main player in the EPC of mega water projects from water treatment to water transmission systems. We have been involved on an EPC basis in all water transmission systems to Riyadh from Jubail, pumping around 1,300,000m3 of water daily to the capital city located more than 400km from the sea. With all our projects combined, our projects will supply more than 3,000,000m3 of water to various regions in the kingdom.

In addition to our vast experience in water supply networks, ssem is also an experienced player in the water treatment sector, with projects totaling more than 200,000m3 of water per day.

SSEM has thus implemented numerous projects in the following areas:

  • Engineering, procurement, and construction of water treatment plants in several regions of the kingdom, including a period of operation and maintenance for those projects
  • Engineering, procurement, and construction of desalinated water pumping stations, with all auxiliaries and control systems from the east coast to Riyadh, as well as from the west coast to Jeddah, Makkah & Taif.

Our company has completed projects throughout the kingdom on behalf of the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), the ministry of Water & Electricity, as well as projects for the Royal Commission of Jubail and Yanbu.
